As of November 15, 2024, per owner, this project will not be awarded due to an insufficient number of submittals received. The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign requests statements of qualifications from Professional Services Consultants interested in providing the Urbana-Champaign campus with elevator consulting services on a retainer basis. The University has a target of two (2) firms to be selected, but reserves the right to award more or fewer based on the qualifications of the submitting firms. Each agreement will have the option for one (1) two-year renewal. The total term with the ability to renew will end at June 30, 2028. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Selected firms will be awarded an initial agreement beginning July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2026. Each agreement will have the option for one (1) two-year renewal. The total term with the ability to renew will end at June 30, 2028. At each renewal, there will be an opportunity to make adjustments in the scheduled hourly rates. Elevator consulting services, concentrating in design of new elevators as well as renovation, modernization and repair of existing elevators. The consultant shall also be knowledgeable of codes governing elevators and their application to existing elevators.
