The Gila River Indian Community's Department of Transportation is requesting bids for Phase 1 of our Sign Replacement Project located in Districts 1, 2, and 6 of the Gila River Indian Community. The project will involve replacing 797 signs to bring them up to current MUTCD retro-reflectivity standards. In addition to replacing sign panels, 421 post will need to be replaced. Each new post will have a concrete footing with a break away base. DEADLINE FOR WRITTEN RESPONSES: Friday, January 19, 2024 @ 5:00 pm. A Bid security of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each Bid. The Bid security must be in the form of cash deposit, a certified or bank check made payable to the Community, or a bid bond issued by a solvent surety licensed to do business in the state in which the project is located and from a Treasury Listed type "A" Company. Project must be complete within 6 Months from the Notice to Proceed. Each Bid must contain evidence of the prospective Contractor's qualification to do business in Arizona, i.e. a contractor's license. Prospective bidders shall be currently and actively licensed with the State of Arizona, Registrar of Contractors on or before the date and time bids are due. In addition, each prospective Contractor must provide proof of an active license bond in its name, obtained pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes Section 32-1152. Each bid must contain Certification Regarding Debarment, Suspension, Ineligibility and Voluntary Exclusion (Exhibit F). Prospective Contractors who fail to provide such information in their Bid shall be deemed non- responsible Bidders and shall be disqualified.
