The project also includes an add alternate bid for construction of 3,660 lineal feet of 2-inch water main; gate valves; and water service together with necessary appertaining work. The engineer's estimated construction cost for Contract 23-1 Base Bid is $3,100,000; Base Bid plus Alternate is $3,220,000. Jesse Owens State Park, Water Storage Tank -- Construction of 50,000-gallon elevated water storage tank; site work including piping, valve vault, access road, gas main relocation, and fencing; complete with necessary appertaining work. The engineer's estimated construction cost for Contract 23-3 is $1,420,000.
