This project will restore Gate 20 to its permanent operational status and include the installation of a new Guard booth with associated operators, sensors, and stripping of the Gate 20 area. Additional work will include concrete repairs as well as work that will take place on Mangum Street which includes the removal of curbs & gutter, refresh of existing striping, and the installation of new striping. While a specific construction schedule will be developed with the successful firm, the target completion date for this project is February 2024. The expectations for the selected firm will be to work with GWCCA and its consultants to meet this target date. These services will include, but not be limited to: o Surveying & Location of Site Utilities o Demolition and Site Preparation of existing Gate 20 and Mangum Street Area o Concrete Repair Work o Installation of Gate 20 Guard Booth Area items including: o Guard Booth (provided by GWCCA) o Gate Operators o Gate Arms o Traffic Light o Variable Message Board o Bollards o Fencing o All associated conduits for Electrical, Power, and LV wiring o Striping and Pavement Markings o Provide detailed pricing for the main Scope of Work and for "Alternate A" work the existing gate 20 guardbooth and gate area has been in a state of construction with the ongoing georgia dome demolition, orange deck, and hotel signia. this project will install a new guardbooth with associated operators, sensors, and striping in the gate 20 area. restriping of mangum street is also included to refresh existing striping and install new striping where appropriate.
