ER-40A0 (088) , ER-40A0 (090) The COUNTY OF MARIN is requesting proposals (RFP) for construction management and material testing
services from consultants who are experienced with managing Federal-Aid projects.
The Sir Francis Drake Blvd MP 20.97 Slide Repair and the Lucas Valley Road Slope Improvement Projects are
construction projects that will be funded with Federal and Local dollars requiring the Consultants to follow all
pertinent local, State, and Federal laws and regulations. The DBE goal for this project is 13%. Failure to meet
this DBE goal or document a satisfactory Good Faith Effort (GFE) will result in ineligibility for the award Total estimated amount of this professional service contractis around $300,000 and with a performance period
of the contract from the date approved by the County of Marin Board of Supervisors to the August 31, 2025 The prospective Consultant is advised that should this RFP result in recommendation for award of a contract,
the contract will not be in force until it is approved and fully executed by the COUNTY OF MARIN.
Contract will not be awarded to a Consultant without an adequate financial management and accounting
system as required by 48 CFR Part 16.301-3, 2 CFR Part 200, and 48 CFR Part 31.
All products used or developed in the execution of any contract resulting from this RFP will remain in the public
domain at the completion of the contract.
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 - disadvantage business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to
submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race,

jason.wong@marincounty.gov. Questions shall be submitted before 4:00 PM on January 30, 2024. No oral
question or inquiry about this RFP shall be accepted. Bid date note ;
Submit three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format on a CD/Flash Drive of the Consultant's
proposal. Cost proposal shall NOT be submitted with Consultant's proposal at this time. Cost proposals will be
required for the Consultants who are short-listed. The complete package shall be mailed or submitted in person
to the COUNTY OF MARIN
