Site work and renovation of a civil project in Alexandria, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes 1.) the replacement of approximately 368 service meters along existing mains; 2.) telemetry control work at each of the well sites (Well Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4.); 3.) installation of 68,000 gallon nominal steel ground storage tanks and tube pump at Well Site 2; 4.) installation of two (2) 50 kW generators and one (1) 20 kW generator; and 5.) clean, inspect and rehabilitate Well Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. Such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the L.R.S. Each Bidder must deposit with the bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid bonds shall be written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements.
