2023 Manhole Rehabilitation. Final Completion Date 90 days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Question Deadline 01/12/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Any questions must be received by the Owner through e-mail no later than in order to provide an addendum to all plan holders. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty in the form of either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the full amount of the bid (including all add alternates) or a certified check, cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid (including all add alternates), as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities in bids, to reject any or all bids, and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the lowest and best responsible bidder. Lining of approximately 151 sanitary manhole (1,395 vertical feet). Rebuild of 36 manhole chimneys and 24 manhole benches, 7 manhole bases. This item includes all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to maintain continuous and reliable wastewater service, prevent backing up of sewage, and allow for appropriate conditions for sewer rehabilitation, replacement, and inspection work. The Contractor shall construct and maintain all temporary bypass pumping systems and be responsible for all bypass pumping of sewers to maintain continuous and reliable wastewater flow in all sewer conduit including but not limited to sewer mains, individual service connections, and sanitary lateral connections.
