Renovation of a mixed-use development in Burlington, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.

**As of February 27, 2024, This project has been awarded to Bansal Construction, Inc., with the awarded amount of $87,547.50.** The Project includes the decommissioning and removal of existing beacon, located on top of the Double Tree Hotel and installation of a new beacon, previously purchased by the owner, to be located on the Terminal 3 Parking Garage. The Beacon is a new LED beacon, to be installed directly on the slab of the parking garage. The exact location will be identified by the engineer, following a scan of the proposed location. The scan is to be completed by the contractor, in order to identify structural cables. Bidders shall provide a Proposal Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total main bid amount as specified. Only the Proposal Bond form, included with these documents, or as published is acceptable. The successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds by a surety company duly authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The Payment and Performance bonds furnished by the successful bidder must be executed by the owner, a general partner or, if a corporation, the secretary's signature and the seal of the corporation must be affixed. These bonds must remain in effect for the length of the agreement Response Types: Line Items Response File Type of Award: Lump Sum The maximum construction time allowed is included in SP-1 Project Information, but the project must be completed by September 1, 2024. Preference for Kentucky resident bidders will be applied in accordance with Kentucky law. The Owner, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The Owner Reserves the Right to Cancel the Award Without Liability to the Bidder, Except Return of Proposal Guaranty, at Any Time Before a Contract Has Been Fully Executed by All Parties and is Approved by the Owner in Accordance With the Subsection 30-07 Titled Approval of Contract of This Section. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bid guaranty, to reject any or all bids, to award or refrain from awarding a contract for the work, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified responsible bidder to such extent as may be beneficial to the Owner. No allowance will be made after bids are received for oversight or error by bidder. B. Owner/Engineer is not bound by, and bidders may not request or rely on any oral interpretation or clarification of this ITB. Therefore, any questions regarding this ITB are encouraged and must be submitted electronically using the Q&A tab of this ITB on Owner's online bidding system, which can be accessed at http://www.cvgairport.com/bids under "Current Opportunities". Questions received on or before December 19, 2023, will be posted on the Q&A tab of this ITB on the bidding system no later than December 21, 2023. Answers to questions from any Bidder will be available to all Bidders.
