Fire Extinguisher Services. Question Deadline 01/12/2024 at 2:00 PM MT Questions shall be submitted individually through Public Purchase by . Questions submitted after the deadline may not be considered. The State of Wyoming reserves the right to withdraw this Invitation for Bid, without cause, at any time before a purchase order or contract has been fully signed and submitted to the A&I Procurement Office. It is the bidder/proposer's responsibility to monitor Public Purchase for answers to questions, addenda, award information or other additional information related to the solicitation. The Agency intends to establish a fixed price service agreement contract for one year service. Such contract may be extended upon mutual consent of the contractor and the Agency for a period of one (1) additional year, and said option to extend the contract for a one (1) year period shall be in effect each year thereafter for a total period not to exceed two (2) additional years. In the case of changes to bid specifications, the contract must be re-bid. Prior to June 1 of current year: Perform annual maintenance of Dry Chemical and Halon Extinguishers. Do a "quick check" of the Water Extinguishers to determine if any need recharging or hydrostatic testing. Any extinguishers needing recharge, six (6) year maintenance, or hydrostatic tests are to be taken to the successful bidder's place of business for the needed repair. Week prior to the Fair: Return all extinguishers that were taken in for service, perform annual maintenance on the water extinguishers, and place water extinguishers in the proper location for the Fair. Week after the Fair: Remove all water extinguishers from the "fair" locations and place in the Wyoming State Fair storage area within two (2) days post-Fair. Supply the Agency with a post-Fair report of the exact number of extinguishers and what kinds of extinguishers were stored for record.
