Site work for a water / sewer project in Highland Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of removing the existing progressive cavity pump, forming up new concrete base, modifying existing piping to fit proposed pump, and installing new Börger rotary lobe pump. CONTRACTOR shall perform all electrical, mechanical, and general work associated with the removals existing equipment and installations of proposed equipment. CONTRACTOR shall provide all materials, equipment, hardware, and labor to complete the project. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to the OWNER/ENGINEER: North Shore Water Reclamation District, P.O. Box 750, 14770 W. Wm. Koepsel Drive, Gurnee, Illinois 60031. (847-623-6060). The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive informalities in bidding, or to accept the Bid or Bids, which best serves the interests of the OWNER. Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price.
