Renovation of a municipal facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a Contractor to provide all labor, material, supervision, tools and equipment necessary to perform installation, replacement, maintenance, inspection, repairs, removal, and emergency services, upon request on twenty-six window grates and roll-up doors at the PLCB Distribution Center 1, located at 8201 Enterprise Ave., Philadelphia PA 18603 and within thirty-six Fine Wine & Good Spirits Stores (FWGS) located in Delaware and Montgomery Counties, and the City of Philadelphia. The Contractor will also be expected to provide all labor, materials, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary to perform installation services of window grates and roll-up doors for additional locations not listed in Attachment 4 when requested by the PLCB. Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store #5195 7702 City Ave Philadelphia, PA 19151-2001 Questions may be submitted in writing to the Issuing Officer prior to the date and time of the site visit. During the site visit, non-binding questions and answers will be permitted, however all questions that an Offeror intends to rely on for the purpose of responding to this IFB must be submitted to the Issuing Officer for formal response after the site visit. All questions will then be answered, in writing, and such responses will be posted to the Department of General Services (DGS) website at www.emarketplace.state.pa.us and to the PLCB's online self-service Oracle Supplier Portal ("Portal") as an addendum to the IFB by 4:00 p.m. ET on January 16, 2024. All questions and official responses are an addendum to, and part of, this IFB. The PLCB shall not be bound by any verbal information, verbal responses to questions or supplemental information provided verbally during a site visit, nor shall it be bound by any written information that is not either contained within the IFB or formally issued as an addendum by the Issuing Office. The Issuing Office does not consider questions to be a protest of the specifications or of the solicitation Service to be provided shall include two preventive maintenance inspections per contract year. These inspections shall be performed during the months of April and October. Inspections shall include but are not limited to: INSPECTION o all counterbalance assemblies, rollers, bearings, cables, chains, shaft, track, and hardware, o all safety equipment and related controls, o all electric operators, operator bearings, disconnect linkage, ropes, chain hoist assemblies, and o all end locks. ADJUSTMENTS o all spring counterbalance assemblies, o level of door, o track spacing, and o clutch, brake, and limit assemblies. LUBRICATION o counterbalance shaft bearings, rollers, hinges, chain hoists, bearings, disconnect, chains, gear reducers, pivot points. TIGHTEN o hardware including hinges, couplings, drums, track brackets, hangers, sprockets, brake solenoids, draw-arms, and hook-ups. When major repairs are required (i.e. quoted at $50,000 or more), the Contractor shall submit to the Contact Person an estimate for PLCB approval prior to commencement of work.
