Reference Number 0000261569 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/18 02:00:00 PM CST Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide consultant services for the construction feasibility and costing of the expansion of the MDR Department within the Brandon Regional Health Centre located in Brandon, Manitoba. The expectation of the study is to identify all modifications required including architectural, electrical, mechanical and structural to ensure successful implementation of modernizing and expanding the MDR area into 3 zone area to support new pass through steam sterilizers. This includes additional detailed review of the following known challenges; Assess spaces within the MDR department for reconfiguration to allow for the larger footprint of two new pass thru steam sterilizers. This includes the following considerations: Extension of MDR area CSB-070 west into adjacent space CSB-086 Installation of automatic door system between CSB-086 and CSB-070 Transfer of existing IT and phone drops from existing area near double doors Re-installation of current case cart desk system Installation of double doors with sweeps in exact location of existing single door in outside hallway CSB-085 Minimum of 10 air changes per hour with capability to increase in the future Maintaining department temperature of 18-20 C and a relative humidity between 30- 60% Daily temperature and humidity monitoring system within department. Walls to have buffer rails and corner guards Assess and confirm sterilization capacity and steam requirements for new pass thru steam sterilizers to confirm if existing steam generation will meet needs Assess existing mechanical and electrical service area to continue cart washing service and to add two steam generators to support the two new pass thru steam sterilizers.
