SCOPE OF SERVICES: The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a contractor to procure and install a single person ADA compliant prefabricated, concrete, relocatable restroom, with a door timed electric lock system and a cast iron, ADA compliant, surface mounted hair dryer as options at Albert-Oakland Park. CONTRACT PERIOD: Effective Date of Contract through One (1) Year written Requests for Additional Information January 24, 2024 Written responses to Requests for Additional Information sent to all January 26, 2024 A bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of offerors proposal, to the Purchasing Division, prior to the bid closing date and time. Acceptable forms of Bid Bonds include 1.) an original bond on the City of Columbias bid bond form (Exhibit G); 2.) A certified check made payable to the City of Columbia. Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, In accordance with Missouri Executive order No -15-06 and federal administrative provisions, contractors shall make every feasible effort to target the percentage of goods and services procure from certified minority business enterprises (MBE) and women business enterprises (WBE). The State of Missouri, County of Boone has an affirmative action goal of 10.0% Participation Goals for Minorities. Contractor hereby agrees to complete the work in the base bid described no later than one hundred eight (180) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Contractor shall agree to allow a deduction of one hundred ($100.00) dollars and no cents per calendar day, from final payment as liquidated damages for each day that completion is delayed beyond said completion date established. The City of Columbia reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received in response to this RFP
