Transformers supplied for this quotation shall meet the following specifications: Size: Provide Transformer(s) of the KVA size as shown on Request for Purchase. Primary Voltage: 13800 Grd Y/7960, single phase, 95 kV BIL Secondary Voltage: 240 / 120 single phase, 30 kV BIL; Reconnectable for 120 volt Y operation in 120/208 volt three phase transformer banks Type: Oil filled, pole-mount distribution transformer Windings: Copper or aluminum Taps: 5, high-voltage taps, nominal plus 2 steps above and 2 steps below nominal; Each step at 2- 1/2 % External de-energized (no-load) tap changer (DETC) Stainless Steel Nameplate including as a minimum: a. Manufacturer b. Size, voltage, and impedance c. Internal connection diagram d. Weight and gallons of oil e. Date of Manufacture f. Serial Number High Voltage Connections: a. Two, 15 kV bushings with bolt-type connectors b. Bushings mounted in top cover of transformer Secondary Connections: a. Three, NEMA type "H" 4-hole spade low voltage bushings on side of transformer on transformers of 75 kVA an larger capacity; Split bolt type connectors on transformers smaller than 75 kVA. b. Low voltage neutral fully insulated bushing with a removable copper ground strap bonded to case GRDA 240/120 Pole Mount Xfmr c. Internal connection terminals allowing for re-connection and use in 208/120 volt transformer bank. Tank grounding connector Internal Fault Indicator/Automatic pressure relief valve: Each transformer shall be equipped with a non-resettable device which detects and provides external indication of internal transformer faults, and also incorporates pressure relief functionality. The approved device is manufactured by IFD Corporation or approved equal. Lifting brackets provided Pole mounting bracket(s) provided (one side) Finish: a. Transformer and compartments to be painted with primer paint and finish coat. b. Finish paint color to be ANSI #70 light gray, gloss c. Painting to be in full compliance with the ANSI coating specifications ANSI C57.12.28 d. Manufacture to stencil the KVA size in 2" black letters above the secondary bushings on the side of tank. Noise level to be equal to or less than NEMA specifications Transformer design and construction must comply with latest applicable NEMA and ANSI standards including short circuit withstand tests. Transformers shall be new. (Remanufactured units will not be accepted.) Safety labels shall be affixed per NEMA standards Vendor must furnish a certificate stating that each transformer is a non PCB transformer. Unit shall have 'Non PCB' label on exterior. The unit shall be banded, blocked, or bolted to a suitable wood pallet or poly-pad for shipping. Bidder shall include with his quotation an outline or detailed drawing showing dimensional data for each KVA size quoted: 1. Overall outside dimensions 2. Secondary terminal location and dimensions 3. Mounting bracket location and dimensions 4. Unit weight 5. Gallons of Oil Question Deadline 01/26/2024 at 2:00 PM CT , All questions must be submitted in writing via online. The award to the successful bidder will be based on the best value bid received that meets the specifications listed below and the requirements herein. Acceptance of GRDA's terms and conditions will also be taken into account as part of the bid evaluation. GRDA reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any and all bids, and to award a contract, as applicable, in the best interests of the Authority. All bid responses become the property of GRDA and are subject to the Oklahoma Open Records Act. GRDA shall endeavor to protect technical information designated by the bidder as proprietary information; however, only technical information (i.e., "trade secrets") may be considered proprietary - pricing and other nontechnical aspects of the quote shall be considered non-proprietary. Allows zero unit prices and labor: Yes Allows negative unit prices and labor: Yes A completed non-collusion certificate is required and must be submitted with your bid if pricing is over $5,000.00. This RFQ form must be signed by an authorized representative of your company in the space provided in the lower right-hand corner of the form.
