Municipal Building Fire Alarm Improvements. Site Directions: Franklin Park Municipal Building 2344 W Ingomar Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237 The scope of work generally consists of the select demolition of existing fire alarm system; and installation of new fire alarm system within the Municipal Building. Work includes all wiring, remote test stations, switches, detectors, strobes, relays, pull stations, fire alarm control panel, fire alarm annunciator, etc. necessary for a complete operational system. All individuals working within Police Department areas within the building must be CJIS certified. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Franklin Park. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. The Contract Documents, including but not limited to the Drawings and the Technical Specifications, depict and describe the general design intent of the character and scope of the work to be constructed, and the material and/or equipment to be installed therein. For sewer line and/or waterline projects except where specific coordinates or reference dimensions are shown, it shall be understood that the drawings show the general alignment of the mainline and the house services. The final constructed alignment and/or location of structures may be adjusted to suit field conditions encountered with prior approval of the Engineer. Individual services shown, including mainline wyes and site tees, are intended to indicate that service is to be provided and are not intended to show actual constructed location. B.5.2 During the period allowed for preparation of bids, Bidders may be furnished addenda or bulletins for additions to or alterations of the Drawings or Specifications which shall be included in the work covered by the Proposal and become a part of the Contract Documents.
