The Work under this contract shall be performed entirely within the City of Burbank, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, and performing all work necessary for the Annual Sidewalk Repair Project (Zones 15-18) all in compliance with the City's Bid Schedule No. 1519. License Requirements A - General Engineering Bid Valid 120 consecutive calendar days Liquidated Damages Yes - $250 per day or one tenth (1/10th) of one (1) percent of the Contract Price per day, whichever is greater. Project Duration 70 Working Days A certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, with a responsive Corporate Surety must be in the form furnished by the City and received by the Responsible Buyer at the Administrative Services Building, 301 East Olive Avenue - Suite 305, Burbank, CA 91502, not later than 2:00 PM, January 29, 2024 (1 WORKING DAY BEFORE) Any corporate surety bond not on the City form must be submitted to the Purchasing Division at least five (5) City working days prior to the bid opening to allow for City Attorney review and approval. Approval is granted/denied on a per-project basis, and failure to have a bond not on City form may render your proposal non-responsive.
