Renovation of a water / sewer project in Glenside, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Plans call for the implementation of a UV disinfection system that is capable of a 186 mj/cm2 dosage to provide full primary disinfection for the treatment system. Additionally, two new Greensand filters using manual backwash will replace the existing Manganese Greensand filter. Remote monitoring capabilities and alarm out functions are also required. The expected outcome of the project will be for the community to meet the primary disinfection requirements and all regulated water parameters in accordance with Water Security Agency regulations and inspections. TIMELINE: Project was completed in 2024.
