Site work for a water / sewer project in Gig Harbor, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
construction of Soundview Drive Asbestos-Cement Watermain replacement project (CWP-2303). The work to be completed under this contract consists of the replacement of 8-inch asbestos-cement (AC) and 10-inch thin-walled polyvinyl chloride (PVC) watermain along Soundview Drive and Hollycroft Street. Also included are the installation of two meter vaults on Soundview Drive, double check valve assembly vaults, replaced service and water main connections, and all related work all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. The City of Gig Harbor reserves the right to award this contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the Bid Proposal.
