The City of Hillsboro invites qualified proposers to submit written proposals to provide janitorial and clean-up services for the two stadiums within the Gordon Faber Recreational Complex. Services will be needed after events are held within the stadiums. Events include football games played by Portland State University and Central Catholic, OSAA soccer games, music/band shows, and other special events held in the Hillsboro Stadium, and baseball games played by the Hillsboro Hops in the Hillsboro Baseball Stadium. The Gordon Faber Recreation Complex ("GFRC") is a 90+ acre complex adjacent to Highway 26 in NE Hillsboro. The complex contains both a 7,000-seat multipurpose Hillsboro Stadium with 170,000 square feet of FieldTurf all-weather artificial surface and the Hillsboro Baseball Stadium with a capacity of 4,500 and six natural grass softball fields. Attendance can range from 800 to 5,500 people per event. The City anticipates needing janitorial and clean-up services for 31 events between April 1st and December 31st annually. The Contractor will be responsible for cleaning according to current OHA and OHSA guidelines, including COVID-19 sanitization (if necessary and as directed by the City).
