The Contractor shall be responsible to furnish all supervision, labor, equipment and transportation to complete the Scope of Work as described in Section 4, THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED. All work under this Contract shall utilize the categories of labor set forth in the Unit Price Schedule. Invoicing is authorized by number of crew members and or crew/ trucks per hour. This is an on call by request contract, the MTA Light Rail does not guarantee the frequency of service. Project Cost Class D - $1,000,000 to $2,500,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Questions Due Date and Time January 24, 2024 at 4 PM Local Time All questions, including concerns regarding any applicable MBE or VSBE participation goals, shall identify in the subject line the Solicitation Number and Title (LR-24-019-MT - Light Rail Station & Platform Snow & Ice Removal - Northern), and shall be submitted in writing via e-mail to the Procurement Officer The Bidder shall have a minimum of five (5) years prior commercial snow removal experience deploying multiple crews to no less than ten (10) snow removal assignment sites simultaneously per deployment. The MTA Light Rail is issuing this solicitation for the purposes of providing the MTA Light Rail with on-call 24-hour snow and ice removal service, re-salting service and bagged salt storage service to ten (10) Northern Region Light Rail Stations and one (1) Cromwell Administration and Maintenance Building for a five (5) year period.
