Reference Number 0000350417 The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG Residential Home Rehab. This rehab project includes work with Windows, Doors and Crawlspace Beam. This is a Federally Funded construction project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act. 14048 Fellrath St. Taylor, MI 48180 Removal and replacement of all exterior windows (8). Replacement windows should be energy efficient vinyl windows with low-E coating and include screens. (Field measured by contractor to fit existing rough opening size.) Removal and replacement of both front and rear entry doors as well as storm doors to match existing (2). (Field measured by contractor to fit existing rough opening size.) Crawl Space main support beam: (5) 2x8 main beam has settled at front crawlspace wall. Jack beam back to level and install steel bearing plate and shims at existing crawlspace wall. Install new 16"16" cmu pier on minimum 24"x24"x12" deep footing 24" off crawlspace wall as intermediate support. All work is to meet local code inspection standards. Permits (with fees) to be pulled from City of Taylor and all inspections to be scheduled with the City of Taylor Building Department.
