Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, travel, vehicles, and incidentals necessary for the cleaning, maintenance of operation, and restoration, of the following: HVAC ducting, exhaust ducting, registers, damper motors and linkage, duct coils, and variable air and mixing boxes at Caltrans facilities in Sacramento County. This contract requires Prevailing Wages if the total bid amount exceeds $15,000. If the total bid amount is under $15,000, then Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award This solicitation is authorized pursuant to Government Code Section 14838.5, which provides for the award of contracts for the acquisition of goods, services, or information technology that has an estimated value of greater than $5,000.00, but less than $250,000.00, to a certified SB, including a Micro Business, or a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise. A bid of $250,000 and above will result in rejection of your bid due to non-responsiveness. Bidder must have a certified Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff, certified by the National Air Duct Cleaning Association (NADCA). Bidder shall possess at the time of bid submittal and for the duration of the Agreement, a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Bidder shall be a certified small business registered with the Department of General Services (DGS).
