Advertised Estimate: The Award Amount and Contract Performance Bond Shall Be Based on the Department S Advertised Estimate Amount of $250,000.00 and Not the Contractors Bid Total. Performance Bond: a Contract / Performance Bond is Required for This Project. Required Submittals With Bid: Experience Form Concrete Pavement Repair 850-070-02 Must Be Submitted With the Bid. Proposal Bid Guarantee: on Proposals Over $150,000, a Proposal Guaranty of $500 Must Accompany Each Bid. The Guaranty Must Be in the Form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier S Check, Trust Company Treasurer S Check, or a Bank Draft of Any National or State Bank Made Payable to the Florida Department of Transportation. A Check or Draft in an Amount Less Than Construct, reconstruct or remove concrete sidewalks, driveways including curb ramps, in accordance with these specifications, and in conformity with the lines, grades, dimensions and notes shown in the plans and the Standard Plans. $500 Will Invalidate the Bid. Question Deadline 01/26/2024 at 5:00 PM Questions posted to this site will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this time, an answer cannot be assured. For all questions posted before the deadline, FDOT will provide and post responses on online. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects.
