Renovation of an educational facility in Oswego, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Owner will receive bids for the construction of Fox Chase Elementary School Re-Roofing. The Work will include: replacing shingles and replace EPDM of the original building. BASIS OF BIDS: Bids will be a single contract, stipulated sum. TIME OF COMPLETION: The Work will commence on Monday, May 27, 2024, and be performed such that the Project will be Substantially Complete as indicated in the Document 00 31 13 - Preliminary Schedule. A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Owner. GOVERNING LAWS AND REGULATIONS: Prevailing wage rates will apply and must be included in the Bid amount.
