Renovation of a mixed-use development in Dundee, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.
All contractors bidding on work must be bondable and must include in their bid the cost for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond. All contractors bidding on work must complete the qualification process submitting the written form or on-line form available Christman > Bidding > Documents and Forms > Trade Contractor Information Request Form (christmanco.com) Bidders must submit the Qualification Statement and a complete audited or reviewed Financial Statement with Accountants Report and Footnotes to be considered for qualification. All questions are to be directed to the Construction Manager. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is requested. All questions must be in writing and sent to Chad Johnson chad.johnson@christmanco.com and Johnny Lindstrom johnny.lindstrom@christmanco.com, no later than Friday, January 12, 2024, at 12:00pm, noon. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to the Owner in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. If bidders do not wish to furnish a bid bond, bid security may also be submitted in the form of certified check, cashiers' check, or money order. Instructions for submitting bid security in one of these forms can be found in the bid documents. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Owner. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts. All bids must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the Owner (bidder) or any employee of the bidder and any member of the DCS Board, Administration or Staff. Bidders shall also provide a Sworn Statement of Economic Relationship with the Country of Iran. Bids received without a bidder's bond, certified or cashier's check, sworn and notarized statement of familial disclosure, and Iran Economic Statement may be rejected. All proposals submitted shall remain valid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid date. The Owner, Architect, and Construction Manager reserves the right to waive any irregularities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal, which, in their opinion, will serve their best interest. Post bid interviews will be scheduled for January 22 thru January 26, 2024. Bidders must be available for an interview during this week.
