Site work and paving for a civil project in Delavan, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of reconstruction of multiple street segments and water main replacements at various locations. Approximate quantities include 330 square yards of asphaltic milling, common excavation of streets for reconstruction, 1,360 tons of hot-mix asphalt pavement, 2,660 lineal feet of curb and gutter replacement, 885 lineal feet of water main, 12 water services, pavement marking, lawn restoration, and other miscellaneous items of work. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder's bond, certified check, bank cashier's check or bank draft payable to the City of Delavan for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions. Rejection of Bids. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
