Question Deadline 01/26/2024 All questions (in writing) must be received by 5 days prior the bid opening date and all questions/answers will be answered via an addendum with 3 days remaining to the bid opening The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Placement of storm sewer on Washington St and Centennial St, including all necessary appurtenances and restoration. Contract documents and additional information on the existing lift station to be removed may be examined online or at the offices of: Village of Sparta, 156 E. Division, Sparta, Michigan 49345 Prein&Newhof, 3355 Evergreen Drive, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49525 A $15 dollar charge will be added to all mailed drawings and/or specifications. Fees are payable by cash or check only and are not refunded. The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for with local funds. Federal wages do not apply to this contract. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Village of Sparta in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids.
