The Beaufort Jasper Water & Sewer Authority (BJWSA) hereby requests your consideration in submitting a Bid to perform replacement of Air Release Valve assemblies (ARV) at various BJWSA sites. Questions Due Date: Jan 19th 2024, 4:00 PM EST Questions submitted via online portal. Replacement of Air Release Valve assemblies (ARV) as listed below and in Cost Tabulation. Locations of ARVs to be replaced are shown in attached BJWSA GIS exhibits and as-builts located in Appendix A. Work shall include removal of the existing ARV from manhole vault, replace existing tapping saddle with new SS316 tapping saddle, removal of manhole cone and backfill with select BJWSA approved fill material and installation of new contractor supplied ARV pedestal per BJWSA Technical Specification S-25. New ARV to be placed upon 3x3 concrete pad no less than 6 above ground surface. Any required shutdown shall be coordinated with BJWSA staff and a shutdown plan shall be submitted to BJWSA by the Contractor. Contractors are encouraged to make site visits for accurate quantities of required items described above. BJWSA will assist with site access.
