Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Cortland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The work described in the specifications consists of furnishing all of the labor, appliances, and services necessary to complete the work shown or reasonably inferred on the drawings and/or described in the specifications, and all materials and equipment to be incorporated at the construction for a complete and operable installation for the Ownerís use. All excess materials, containers, etc. shall be removed from the job site at the completion of the work. The City of Cortland reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities or irregularities in bidding. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and Labor in the implementation of their project. The project includes the replacement of three 66" metal pipe culverts over Walnut Creek on Fairway Drive with a 14 foot by 5 foot concrete box culvert. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity
