Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oregon, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The proposed work consists of resur- facing and widening 1.43 miles of Coy Road from Fleitz Drive to Seaman Road. The project will also include sidewalk installation, storm sewer improvements, signage, and striping. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the City or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the City of Oregon. DBE Goal 7.0% Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond properly executed can be submitted in lieu of a bid bond or check. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid pack- et, particularly to the Federal Labor Provi- sions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions; and the require- ments for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. The Council of the City of Oregon, OH, reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
