The proposed work consists of resurfacing 1.0 miles of Wynn Rd from Corduroy Rd to Cedar Point Rd and 1.0 miles of Corduroy Rd from Wynn Rd to Stadium. Road. The project will also include curb- ramp installation and updates and striping. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the City or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the City of Oregon. Bid bonds shall be accompanied by Proof of Authority of the official or agent signing the bond. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond properly executed can be submitted in lieu of a bid bond or check. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions; and the requirements for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price. This project is classified as a Local Public Agency project with the City of Oregon Administering the project and the Ohio Department of Transportation providing project oversight. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. At least 7.0 percent of this contract as bid shall be subcontracted to DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises) who have been certified as DBES by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
