**As of February 16, 2024 , This project has been awarded to Howard Companies, with the awarded amount of $1,695,782.50.** 2024 Street Resurfacing Project The Base Bid will include milling, resurfacing, pavement marking, ADA curb ramps, curb, driveway approaches, site restoration, and mobilization and demobilization, in the following areas, with in the Town of Speedway; Beauport Rd., from Moller Rd. to School Dr., Hollister Dr., from Patton Dr. to Moller Rd., E. Maplewood Dr., from Moller Rd to Meadowood Dr., W. Maplewood Dr., from Meadowood Dr. to Moller Rd, and Hickorywood Dr., from Highschool Rd. to Parkwood Dr. The Project, which is funded from Town budgeted funds and a CCMG grant, will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and materials for resurfacing an asphalt concrete street. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided in the Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount bid with satisfactory corporate surety or by a certified check on a solvent bank. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Bid. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
