Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a road / highway.
Portions of the exterior lighting system at Morton Elementary school are in need of replacement. The project includes removal of select site poles, pole fixtures, bases, and building-mounted luminaires and replacing them with LED equivalents. New luminaires are being added at some locations. New luminaires are being added at some locations.Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the project. Work in the facility shall be allowed after normal student classroom hours during the school year and all hours during summer break. However, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building.
