Norton Park Elementary School, 3041 Gray Road, Smyrna, GA 30082 Acworth ES Car Drop-Off Canopy This project consists of the demolition of the existing metal canopy at the car drop-off / entry area of the school and constructing a new prefabricated aluminum canopy U-Bent system consisting of 2 columns supporting a beam to which an extruded deck canopy roof is attached. This project also entails saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway for the installation of the foundations for the new canopy columns. New LED lighting shall be included as part of the new canopy installation scope Norton Park ES Replacement of Existing Canopy at Bus Parking This project consists of the demolition of the existing metal canopy at the bus parking area of the school and construction a new prefabricated aluminum canopy U-Bent system consisting of 2 columns supporting a beam to which an extruded deck canopy roof is attached. Heights of sections of the new canopy will vary due to the difference in elevations between the existing walkway and the entry doors to the school. This project also entails the demolition of a section of existing concrete walkway for the installation of a new wider concrete walkway and saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway to accommodate the installation of the foundations for the new canopy columns. New LED lighting shall be included as part of the new canopy installation scope. Pickett's Mill ES Car Drop-Off Canopy This project consists of the following: A. Hip Canopy Roof: Construction of a new prefabricated aluminum canopy with an extruded roof deck attached to prefabricated aluminum rafters and aluminum beams supported on 4 aluminum columns at the front entry area of the school. This project also entails saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway for the installation of the foundations for the new canopy columns. B. Car Drop-off Area: Construction of a new prefabricated aluminum canopy cantilevered bent system consisting of a single column used to support a beam to which an extruded deck canopy roof is attached. Saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway will be required to accommodate installation of column foundations and underground downspouts for the cantilevered bent system. C. New LED lighting shall be included as part of the new canopy installation scope. Tapp MS Bus Parking Canopy This project consists of the construction of a new prefabricated aluminum canopy U-Bent system consisting of 2 columns supporting a beam to which an extruded deck canopy roof is attached. This project also entails the construction of a new concrete walkway for a walkable surface that will be covered by the new canopy. Saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway to accommodate the installation of the foundations for the new canopy columns will also be included as part of the scope of work. New LED lighting shall also be included as part of the new canopy installation scope. Vaughan ES Car Drop-Off Canopy This project consists of constructing a new prefabricated aluminum canopy U-Bent system consisting of 2 columns supporting a beam to which an extruded deck canopy roof is attached. This project also entails saw cutting and patching of the existing concrete walkway for the installation of the foundations for the new canopy columns. New LED lighting shall be included as part of the new canopy installation scope.
