The project includes approximately 1,700 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron (DI) water main on Noyes Road and the adjacent easement at 56 Noyes Road in Londonderry, New Hampshire, as well as valves, hydrants, and other appurtenances. The project also includes replacement of the existing septic and leach field system of the abutting 56 Noyes Road property. Work includes removal of existing disposal system and complete replacement as defined by the contract drawings. A subsurface exploration program consisting of soil probes has been performed, with reasonable care. The Contractor shall not rely on the interpretations, opinions, conclusions, or recommendations included in the report, only the factual data relative to the specific times, locations, and depths/elevations. Specific project requirements are referenced only in the drawings and specifications. C. Subsurface information provided in the Contract Documents is limited by the methods used for obtaining and expressing such data and is subject to various interpretations. Work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 1,700 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron (DI) water main, valves, hydrant, and other appurtenances within Noyes Road, the adjacent easement at Lot 15-35C (56 Noyes Road) and Lot 15-40-3 (water storage tank site). Work shall also include a drainage swale, culvert pipes with headwalls, temporary paving, permanent paving, development of an earthen access path, and surface restoration, where required. B. All water mains shall be owned and operated by Manchester Water Works (MWW) following completion of this project. The Contractor shall coordinate with MWW for access to water, testing, and connection to existing mains. C. Work also includes removal and replacement of the existing septic and leach field system for the abutting 56 Noyes Road property Each General Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. The successful Bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds, and will be required to execute the Contract Agreement within 10 days following notification of the acceptance of his Bid. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. May 23, 2025 for final completion. Liquidated damages will be in the amount of $ 1,100 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for substantial completion, and $ 1,100 for each calendar day of delay from the date established for final completion.
