Site work for an educational facility in Rancho San Diego, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Discrepancies in, and/or omissions from the plans, specifications or other contract documents or questions as to their meaning shall be immediately brought to the attention of the district by submission of a written request for an interpretation or correction to the district. Such submission, if any, must be sent to the Purchasing Department by emailing Jeff Johnson at jefjohnson@powayusd.com no later than 11:00am on January 25, 2024. SCOPE OF WORK. The Contractor shall perform all Work within the time stipulated in the Contract and shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, utility services, and transportation to complete all of the Work required in strict compliance with the Contract Documents as specified in Article 5 below for the following Project: BID 2024-23 POUR-IN-PLACE SURFACE REPLACEMENTS The Contractor and its surety shall be liable to the District for any damages arising as a result of the Contractor's failure to comply with this obligation. SCOPE OF WORK NOTES: 1. Contractors shall be responsible for all material and equipment storage, transportation, etc., as necessary to perform the scope of work. 2. All floors and walls shall be protected properly from any damages, scratches, defects, etc. Contractor will be responsible for all needed restoration and/or repairs/replacement in order to bring back to the original pre-construction conditions, if are being affected by the contractor's performance. The contractor is strongly recommended to document all existing conditions prior to starting any activity and notify the District's representative regarding any existing damages or defects immediately, by email (including photos). 3. All light fixtures, their hanging devices, light bulbs, wiring, and conduits shall be protected in place. The contractor will be responsible for replacing damaged and / or defective parts with new, if occur because of the contractor's performance. 4. The Contractor shall complete contract scope of work within contract time period, with a final completion date of August 16th, 2024. The contractor shall provide sufficient labor, material, and equipment to complete the scope of work by or before the above date. 5. The Contractor shall assign a superintendent during the Contractor's performance. The Contractor's workers are not allowed to perform without the superintendent onsite. 6. If the contractor finds surfaces which are in question as to disposition, he is to report his findings to the District's inspector immediately for direction. 7. Contractor to provide submittals for specified products or substitutions as follows: a. Product Data: Provide data on specified products, describing physical and performance characteristics; sizes, patterns, thickness, and colors available. b. Samples: Submit color sheet of available color selections. At District's request, provide physical samples illustrating color and pattern for each floor material for each color specified. c. Manufacturer's Installation Instructions: Indicate special procedures. d. Manufacturer Warranty. e. Maintenance Data: Include maintenance procedures, recommended maintenance materials, procedures for stain removal, repairing surface, and suggested schedule for cleaning.
