Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Mechanical Upgrades at Crestview Apartments On Owner's approval of a proposal from Contractor, the Contracting Officer, or their designated representative, will issue a Change Order, for all changes to the Contract Sum or the Contract Time. 1. Except as otherwise specifically indicated, the Owner shall be the only authority that may make changes or alterations to the Contract. 2. Where a portion of the Contract Documents is modified or deleted by Change Order, the unaltered portions of Contract Documents remain in full effect. B. When Owner and Contractor disagree on the terms of a proposal, the Contracting Officer, or their designated representative, may issue a Construction Change Directive, instructing Contractor to proceed with the change, for subsequent inclusion in a Change Order. Construction Change Directive will contain a description of the change and designate the method to be followed to determine changes to the Contract Sum or the Contract Time. The construction estimate range for this project is between $535,000 - $735,000 Each bid must be accompanied by a properly executed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check on a solvent bank, made payable to the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority in an amount which shall not be less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of CMHA. Bids shall be firm and cannot be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of CMHA. Bidder agrees to complete the work within 180 calendar days on or before the dates or within the number of calendar days in accordance with Clause 25 of the General Conditions for Construction Contracts. Question Deadline 01/22/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions will be received in writing via email at cousotrigoy@cmha.net Responses to all questions will be posted as an addendum and posted to CMHA's website. Bidder accepts the provisions of this Solicitation for liquidated damages in the amount of $1,100.00 per day in the event of Bidder's failure to complete the Work within the Contract performance period in accordance with Clause 33 of the General Conditions for Construction Contracts *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
