Site work and paving for a road / highway in Box Elder, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
**As of February 15, 2024, project was awarded to Dream Construction Inc., awarded amount is $2,749,108.10.** The project will construct the roadway, Hotel Way (fka Degeest Drive), connecting Cheyenne Boulevard in the City of Rapi d City to South Interstate-90 Service Road in the City of Box Elder, and ancillary improvements included in the project drawings. This connection crosses the right-of-way of the Rapid City, Pierre, and Eastern railroad where a silent rail crossing shall be constructed in conjunction with the roadway project. All public improvements are required to conform to these specifications and bid prices must reflect these specifications. Bids may not be withdrawn prior to thirty (30) days after the bid opening. The Owner and Contractor hereby acknowledges that time is of the essence for the project. Regardless of actual construction start date, all work specified in the contract documents must be substantially complete no later than October 31, 2024.
