Security Door Installation - Topaz Border Station Description: This is an Agreement in which the Contractor shall provide new steel security door installation. The Contractor will be compensated for the services in accordance with the service rate(s) specified in Exhibit B - Attachment 1, Rate Sheet, which shall include all labor, equipment, parts, devices, materials, tools, licenses, permits, supervision, inspection, insurance, transportation, travel and per diem, and every other item of expense necessary for the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA), Topaz Border Protection Station at 120117 Highway 395, Topaz, CA 96133. PAYMENT BOND When the contractual amount exceeds $25,000, Contractor shall provide a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the Agreement within 15 calendar days of notification of award of Agreement. Failure to submit said bond shall constitute a breach of contract. PERFORMANCE BOND When the contractual amount exceeds $10,000 and progress payments will be made, Contractor shall provide a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the Agreement within 15 calendar days of notification of award of Agreement. Said performance Bond shall be on a form from an authorized surety company and must guarantee Contractor's performance. Right to Terminate The State reserves the right to terminate this agreement subject to 30 days written notice to the Contractor. Contractor may submit a written request to terminate this agreement only if the State should substantially fail to perform its responsibilities as provided herein. However, the agreement can be immediately terminated for cause. Term of Contract
The term of this contract is April 15, 2024, or upon final/Department of General Services/Office of Legal Services (DGS/OLS) approval, whichever is later, through June 30, 2024.
