Construction of approximately 80'x85' pre-engineered metal building addition to the City of Harrisonburg Public Utilities Water Operations Center located at 2155 Beery Road in Harrisonburg, VA. The Public Utilities crews will construct a sediment trap prior to the start of the contract and will convert the trap to a bio-retention pond at the conclusion of the project. The contractor will not be responsible for this work. The City is requesting bids on alternate amounts of work in addition to the base bid work. Performance and Payment Bonds as required by the Contract Documents The contract term shall begin on the date the contract is signed. The Owner may issue Notice to Proceed immediately or reserves the right to issue Notice to Proceed within thirty (30) days of contract date. Work shall begin upon Owner issue of Notice to Proceed document. Project shall be completed to substantial completion within 270 calendar days and project closeout 300 calendar days from issue of the effective date of Notice to Proceed.
