Jefferson County Commission is accepting bids to acquire a contract with a qualified vendor(s) for Automatic Sprinkler System Inspection, Testing and Preventative Maintenance. Contractor shall inspect, test, maintain and certify fire alarm systems for Jefferson County and satisfy requirements of the latest edition of NFPA 72, Chapter 10, conform to the equipment manufacturers' recommendations, and verify operations of the fire alarm systems. All recipients of this solicitation are required to complete and return the enclosed Notification of Intent. Only those vendors submitting the Notification of Intent will be advised of any clarifications, addendum, answers to inquiries, etc. pertaining to this ITB. Notification of Intent should be emailed to Florencie Patton at underwoodf@jccal.org by 5:00 PM on 1/11/24. Telephone inquiries with questions regarding clarification on any and all specifications of the ITB will not be accepted. All questions must be typewritten and emailed to Florencie Patton at underwoodf@jccal.org by 1/19/24 by 4:00 p.m. The County is not responsible for delays occasioned by the U.S. Postal Service, the internal mail delivery system of the County, or any other means of delivery employed by the bidder. Similarly, the County is not responsible for, and will not open, any bid responses which are received later than the date and time indicated above. Late bid responses will be retained in the bid file, unopened. The Jefferson County Commission will offer a three (3) year contract.
