All dimensions and scope of Work should be verified buy Contractors prior to submission of bids. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - FOB Destination - FOB Pre-Paid - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each Bid shall as a guaranty of good faith on the part of the Bidder be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a certified or cashier's check drawn on an approved national bank or trust company in the state of Colorado and made payable without condition to the City; or a Bid Bond The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, General: o Contractor shall obtain and include all necessary permits. o New roof shall be 60 mil TPO. o Refer to the attached TPO specifications document for additional required details on roof and metal coping/flashing installation. o Provide a written and executed 20-year manufacturer's warranty for each roof. o The City reserves the right to award each building to one or separate Contractors. City Hall Roof Replacement - 250 N. 5 th Street o The existing roof is approximately 27,000 square feet. o This is a two-story building. o Existing roof is a ballasted single-ply Firestone rubber membrane roofing system on tapered insulation and cricketing system (R-25 average) with the minimum thickness of one-inch. o New roof shall be ballasted to the new densdeck or equal product. o All parapet coping and drip edge metal is to be replaced with new. Metal to be 24 gauge with color to match the existing metal. o Provide and install roof walk pads as shown on the attached Roof Plan A2-3. o Provide and install rubber block supports for any conduit or piping on the roof. o Provide and install new roof jacks, flashing, and coping. **Note** Provide a bid alternate on the bid sheet for adding two inches of Poly Iso insulation to the roof.
