Reference Number 0000339027 Douglas County ("Owner" or the "County") is issuing this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to solicit commercial and technical proposals ("Proposals") from bidders ("Respondents") for the design, permitting, site preparation and construction of the new Coroner Facility located at 8900 Dorris Road, Douglasville, GA 30134 (the "Project"). Capitalized terms in this RFP, if not defined here, are defined in the Agreement (defined below) for the Project. The Project will include an office area, viewing/identification/tissue recovery room, and deceased body receiving area. The Project's office area will have its own separate main entrance, guest parking, employee parking, receiving area and on-site storm water pond. The Project will be funded with SPLOST funds. The Project is required to comply with State and Federal statutes, rules and regulations, as well as those of Douglas County, including local permitting of the project. Additionally, the Project must comply with all SPLOST rules, regulations, specifications and requirements.
