Reference Number 0000339086 Window Restoration and Repair Windows 13-21. Newport Fire Department Station No.5 Description The City of Newport Fire Station No.5 is located at 119 Touro St. Newport, in Newport Rhode Island. Station No.5 was built in 1895, and is a brick-and-mortar structure with original windows. This building has an unfinished third floor attic with three matching gables facing North, South, and East. Each of the gables have three matching window arrangements. Each arrangement of windows consists of a double-hung arched top window with two flanking double hung windows. There are a total of 9 windows that are included in this project. Attachment 1 is an elevation drawing of the building. The 9 windows that are a part of this RFP are numbered 13 through 21 on the drawing. All questions relating to this RFP shall be emailed to Erin Mulligan, Purchasing Agent at emulligan@cityofnewport.com. *The right is reserved, as the interest of the City may require, to reject any or all bid proposals, to waive any technical defect or informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any bid or portion thereof. The City of Newport reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be for the best interest of the City.
