Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Sylvania, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work consists of: Reconstruction of 0.34 miles of Main Street (CR 1572) between 0.10 miles north of Convent Boulevard and the bridge over Tenmile Creek. Project includes the reconstruction of pavement between the existing gutter plates, subgrade treatment, storm sewer replacement, underdrains, pavement markings, and traffic signal replacement with a pedestrian hybrid beacon. The City of Sylvania reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid,to determine the lowest and best bidder, and to waive any informalities in bidding. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in this booklet. (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form.) 2. A certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in favor of the City of Sylvania in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is a 100% payment and performance bond. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids.
