SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to perform the Work of the Project as defined by the Contract Documents which consists of the following The project consists of traffic control, regular excavation, fill, grading, storm drainage work, plumbing installation (water and sanitary sewer), electrical installation, concrete hardscaping, site amenities, and landscaping. Work is detailed in plans as prepared by Site Collaborative and specifications as prepared by the Parks and Recreation office and included in and referenced by the Notice to Bidders and Special Provisions. The time of completion for this work shall be one hundred fifty (150) consecutive calendar days after the date of a written Notice to Proceed. Shall costs for liquidated damages be construed as a penalty on the Contractor and are solely intended to compensate for damages. Two-hundred fifty (250) dollars per day including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. Question Deadline: 01/19/2024 at 5:00 PM ET A bid bond is required to be submitted with each bid document in an amount equal to 5 percent (5%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Liquidated Damages: Two-hundred fifty (250) dollars per day including Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. The City, in protecting its best interest, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any defects in favor of the City.
