The deadline to ask questions is 1/30/2024 12:00 PM CST The proposed Veterans Memorial Park is on vacant city land located on East Mink Street between South Danville (US 75) and South Bell Street, adjacent to and south of the Montgomery County Justice of the Peace, Precinct No.1 office in downtown Willis, Texas. The intent of the proposed Design/Build project is to design and construct a functional and aesthetically pleasing Veterans Memorial Park that honors all branches of the U. S. Military and local police, fire and EMS first-responders. The project shall include memorial monuments, seating, landscaping, utilities, off-street parking, pathways, and related appurtenances. Selection will be a two-step process. In the first step, the City will accept statements of qualifications from all interested firms. The City will evaluate the firms and qualify no more than five firms to submit proposals for the design and construction of the Project. In the second step, the City will accept proposals from qualified firms. The proposals should include information requested by the City in this RFQ. After receipt of the proposals, the City may interview each offeror. The City will rank the offerors based on the selection criteria to determine which offeror provides the best value to the City.
