Site work and paving for a road / highway in New London, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of New London Public Works Department is requesting bids from qualified contractors in good standing for the 2024 roadway resurfacing improvements, in the City of New London. Contractors are required to comply with the instructions contained within these General Conditions and Specifications and to provide information where requested. Questions must be received by 12:00 P.M. on January 25, 2024. All questions shall be directed to Joshua Montague, Accounting/Purchasing Agent, via email jmontague@newlondonct.org . Bid Bond - Ten percent (10%) due at time of bid for all contract services and public works/construction projects that exceed twenty thousand dollars Performance Bond - One hundred percent (100%) of contract price for projects that exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00). Labor and Material Payment Bonds - One hundred percent (100%) of contract price for projects that exceed fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00).
