Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Kalona, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
Improvements to Vista Park Phase 1 area will include, but are not limited to: Restroom building construction, installation of playground equipment purchased by owner, purchase and installation of splashpad equipment and surfacing, installation of poured in place rubber surfacing and synthetic grass surfacing, construction of sidewalk and granular trail, installation of fencing for a dog park, and associated utility services. The improvements in include approximately:14,000 CY of excavation; 725 LF of storm sewer; 275 LF of sanitary service; 1,074 LF of water services; 2,451 SY of PCC Sidewalk; 892 SY crushed asphalt millings; 1,705 LF of chain link fencing; 7,395 SF of Poured in Place Playground Surfacing; 2,685 SF of Synthetic Grass Surfacing; Splashpad equipment and installation; Playground equipment installation; Restroom Building installation. Other associated improvements include, manholes, fittings, appurtenances, traffic control, erosion control, surface restoration, and miscellaneous work necessary to complete the project.
