The County Department of Land Conservation & Forest Management is seeking proposals and corresponding bids for the design, professional engineering, construction and installation of a snowmobile trail bridge that meets WDNR specifications, including appropriate pilings and a 25,000 lb weight limit The bridge will be installed across an agricultural ditch on private land in the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 28, T29N R5W, Town of Delmar, Chippewa County. Chippewa County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bid Award: On or before January 30, 2024 Acceptance of Bid/Award of Contract: In evaluating bids, Owner will consider whether or not the bids comply with the prescribed requirements, and such alternates, unit prices and other data, as may be requested in the Bid Form or prior to the Notice of Award. Owner shall have the right to waive informalities and irregularities in a bid received and to accept the bid, which, in the Owner's judgment, is in the Owner's own best interests. Said bond to be 100 percent Performance and 100 percent Labor and Material Payment Bond. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
